Doug Ellis
Vice President Supply Chain Operations, MPC Computers (MPC)
Doug Ellis Doug Ellis currently serves as Vice President Supply Chain Operations, MPC Computers.
Mr. Ellis joined Micron Electronics in 1997 to lead an initiative where he was responsible for driving and implementing a new Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. In 1999, Mr. Ellis was promoted to Manager, Sales and Operations Planning for the SMB and Consumer subsidiary and in 2001 was subsequently promoted to Director, Sales and Operations Planning as the company consolidated all similar functions under his leadership.
In 2003, Mr. Ellis assumed additional leadership of the purchasing group and one year later was promoted to Executive Director, Sales Operations and Purchasing.
In 2005, Mr. Ellis was promoted to Area Vice President, Sales Operations and Purchasing and in 2006 assumed additional leadership of the manufacturing and logistics groups and was promoted to Vice President, Supply Chain Operations.
Prior to working for Micron Electronics and MPC, Mr. Ellis worked in the Real Estate industry as a Realtor and Property Manager where he managed all functions ranging from marketing to financial analysis.
Mr. Ellis graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Idaho.
