Notebook Parts
Customer Replaceable Units
Customer Replaceable Units are typically items that can be easily removed from your notebook without unscrewing anything. Depending on the model of notebook, the Customer Replaceable Units usually include items such as batteries, CD-ROM drives, DVD drives, and usually hard drives. MPC does not carry any Customer Replaceable Units beyond the items listed on the accessories pages of our Web site. Depending on the age of the system, you might be able to find replacement parts at an alternative supplier.
Non-Customer Replaceable Units
Non-Customer Replaceable Units are parts of the notebook that are not easily removed from your notebook, and would include parts like the screen and the keyboard. Non-Customer Replaceable Units cannot be sold separately due to the proprietary and sensitive nature of notebook computers. However, MPC offers a service called a "Billable Repair Service."
Out-of-warranty Support
MPC's Fee-Based Support Program allows you to receive technical support for out-of-warranty notebook systems. It's simple: customers call a tollfree number, and a credit card is billed by the minute. Click here for program details.
